Grief and loss can be overwhelming and lonely.
At first it can be hard to even breath and it feels as though you’re functioning in a bubble, numb.
Gradually, though, the weight of your loss becomes all too real.
Many of us will have isolated ourselves over time, especially if we have been carers, leaving us with no-one to turn to for day to day support.
Although the bereavement and grief support organisations listed below are extremely busy, do join the waiting list if you think they can help you, it will be worth the wait.
Their understanding and compassion are outstanding.
The opportunity to speak to someone who is trained and not emotionally involved in your loss is invaluable.

Sue Ryder has a bereavement community that offers the opportunity to post your feelings and receive support from those who are living with the same emotions.

Please reach out and ask for help from those who are trained to support you.
